Lyrics: Serenity by Dahlia

My fixation with the album Emotion Cycles (2001) by Dahlia continues. It is now over a week and I still do not tire of this enchanting album. I searched for any site that had captured lyrics to their songs and found none, so I took the time to transcribe the lyrics for 'Serenity' and offer them here:

Serenity:

Here I lay
Time thinking about a space
In this life
Moments coming out
Of me
Challenge the thought of
To keep my head adrift
As my heart aches
But I've got what it takes
To live
A million times
A tribune buys
Long remembrance past
I said hello
To eyes that glow
Like mine
But sad

With a blast of strength
When I'm by myself and I
I know you understand
Will you capture this
With a farewell kiss now
I follow you

Serenity, serenity
Serenity, serenity
Surrender to me

Don't break me down again
Don't break me down again
Don't break me down again
I'm home

You fill me up
With your final breath
The kiss did me well
But not enough to love him yet
If you shouted about it
It might change my mind of it
Just say it
Say it isn't so

A greatest challenge
A bottle fallen
Don't you think of me
I know you felt
Some other hands
That made you melt
Like me

With a blast of strength
When I'm by myself and I
Know you understand
Will you capture this
With a farewell kiss
And I
Conquered my fears

Serenity, serenity
Serenity, serenity
Surrender to me

Serenity, serenity
Serenity, serenity
Surrender

Don't break me down again
Don't break me down again
Don't break me down again
I'm home

Don't break me down again
Don't break me down again
Don't break me down again
I'm holding onto
Serenity

Serenity, serenity
Serenity, serenity
Surrender to me
