At the Fair
I am in Veneta, Oregon here to camp out for the weekend and visit the Oregon Country Fair. What is that you say you have never heard of Veneta before? Well neither had I until I got the instructions on how to get to the fair. Veneta is west of Eugene for you locals and out in the middle of nowhere for the rest of you. So what the F am I doing posting to my blog all the way out here? Yup, you guessed it, even out in BFE you can still troll for unprotected WiFi. God I love the age of the Internet… sniff, sniff.. OK, I should put the laptop away now before the hippies notice and out me… du-du-du, nothing to see here.. nope, no technogeeks in your midsts..

there’s always wireless at the oregon country fair. they’re the same people who enable wireless at burning man.

thanks Gretchin. After my first post I decided to go ‘off the grid’. I put the laptop away and turned the cell phone off for the weekend.. felt good.
