CD collection ripped to MP3
It took days of feeding CD after CD to iTunes, but I have just finished ripping my whole CD collection to MP3 format. Once all was said and done I ended up with:
3550 songs
719 Artists
288 Albums
11.4 continual days of music
18.48 GB of files
I am sure that as I go through and cleanup some of the track information I will find misspelled artist names, some duplicate tracks and other inaccurate bits.. but for now: Wow!

Don’t you find having your entire CD collection in MP3 format much easier to work with, and much more enjoyable? I am in the process of doing the same thing, using iTunes as well, and I am up to 13,927 songs, 4,658 Artists, 41.8 days of continual music and 73.16 GB of files. And I still have 200 or so CDs left to rip. I have my collection in a Multimedia PC connected to my home theater system and networked throughout the house. I am now actually listening to music I have had for years, but which I had simply forgotten I had. Enjoy!
