I was unable to get a fast Internet connection while in Colombia, so though I kept a travel log I could not post it. What I will do, is over the next few days post the travel log, one entry a day, and back-date them so they appear in the proper order and with the original authored date.

I will be on vacation for the next two weeks, so the Film Roar and Lion’s Den blogs will be on a two-week hiatus. I usually keep a travel log, if you are interested check this site for updates. Whether the travel log is posted while I am there or when I return will depend on my access to an Internet connection while away from home.

Not since Ravel’s Bolero has listening to the same tune over and over been so much fun. Just like the movie, the soundtrack to Run Lola Run repeats a theme over and over with bursting energy that is contagious and enthralling. You would think you would tire of hearing the techno track mixed and remixed fifteen times over 1.2 hours, but instead you will find yourself singing along as you put the CD in for another spin.

A very curious web site is up claiming that the government is covering up what really happened to the Pentagon on Sept 11th. I am as dubious of the claims made by the web site as I am of… well… of the government.

My friend Amy just sent me a link to the new community network building site http://www.friendster.com/. I went ahead and set myself up with a profile. Still not sure what to make of the connected site. It could turn out to be fun, or then again it may turn out to be another opportunity for advertisers to advertise to me. If you want to go ahead and set yourself up with an account, then link to me.. who knows what connections might come of it.

The song Sleepy Maggie by Ashley MacIsaac has become a favorite track of mine. I first heard the track when I bought a copy of Bravehearts, New Scots Music a great compellation of Scottish music with a fresh and electronic edge. In the years since that tracked has staid a favorite of mine and turned me on to some other great artists.
