Michael and I went on a driving excursion of the West Hills of Portland. This is a favorite weekend activity of mine. At one point we went into the pedestrian bridge that closes the gap between two of the buildings at Oregon Health Sciences University. If you live in Portland you should know what I am talking about. It is an impressive beautiful blue suspension bridge that hangs over a large ravine.

This is what the totems look like. Note the little guy next to the totem. The little guy is me. I am six feet, four inches tall. The totem is taller. Much taller.

I usually go driving along the West hills in Summer. I like to look at all the beautiful houses hidden in the ravines of Forest Park. I keep my eye open for open houses and if I see one I go in and make like I am a prespective buyer so I can see what the houses look like from the inside. If I have a female friend with me I have her pose as my bride. The agents buy it a bit better than when I am alone. This evening Michael was in the car with me so we decided we were the gay lovers looking for a new house. I told the agent that Michael had just gotten a great technology job in Portland, that he was moving here from New York and that I was moving down from Seattle to be with him. Michael asked her to take our picture in the house. I have no idea what the agent thought of this request but she went ahead and took the picture. The house is on a hiill that I am sure will slide down to Beaverton in the next couple of decades.
