A somewhat odd picture of me freshly shaven. I needed an image for the NorWescon catalog and had a friend take this one while at Edward's birthday party.

Edward, Aarron and I were hard at work doing our daily banking before going to the Weird Al Yankovich concert in August of 1999 when these two crazy women came in and held us up. At first they just asked for the money but after tying us up decided to bring us along.
By the way, that scared look on my face was not hard to do.Stage prop or not Katrina was pushing that shotgun into my chest and I have enough of a self preservation instict to get scared when someone holds a gun to me.

Birthday 2000. Once again time to celebrate the twisted weirdness that is Edward Martin III. The theme of this party was to dress as someone who had just come back from the future. As you can see Lisa is a research scientist trying to stop global warming.

Ah the glory. Aaron and I bask in the pride of being filmmakers. Edward had this great idea to have everyone at the party record a 30 second message from the future. Aarron and I were in charged of the Futuroscope. Some points of interest:
The Camera: 20 years old. Comes with a big old shoulder strapped pack you can haul for 'portability'. It cannot rewind hence we either got it right the first time or... we got it right the first time. We actually rewound the tape twice when we had to by inserting a pen in the rewind release and manually moving it back. Do NOT call this thing junk though, it works!
The Lights: I am sure every major film studio uses work lights with gels clothes pinned to them. It got damned hot in that room.
The Tripod: Missing a leg joint so don't move it too much.
The Aarron: Bald. See previous pictures to figure out why this matters.
The Leopoldo: Yes that is a Star Fleet Engineering uniform. Yes I do own it, and yes I have the right insignia on it, two and a half pips. Lt. Commander, right about right for a Systems Administrator.
The Lizard Head on the Floor: Enough said
