Dark Horizons Posts Best Movies of 2003

While I got more pleasure from reading the scathing reviews of the worst movies of 2003, and even though I disagree with some of the selection I did appreciate the Dark Horizons list of The Best Films of 2003. Ranking high on Garth's list are:
10. "Kill Bill: Volume I"
9. "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl"
8. "Phone Booth"
7. "X2: X-Men United"
6. "The Last Samurai"
5. "Master & Commander: The Far Side of the World"
4. "Lost in Translation"
3. "Shattered Glass"
2. "Finding Nemo"
1. "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King"
Nice to see a 'best of' list composed of movies I can actually espouse (save Kill Bill, but that's a long story). I was especially pleasantly surprised to see 'Shattered Glass' ranking so high. It slipped past most people's notice, I felt, which is a great injustice considering Christensen's excellent performance and the superior cinematography.
