TNG: Shades of Gray

[Trek Talk]

Dear god, we are only in season two and the production is already short of cash enough to warrant a 'flashback' episode? How can it get any worse? Oh, I know, lets make the key to Rikirk's survival be a collage of recycled footage from him hitting on the babe alien of the week. TNG: Shades of Gray was an awful way to end the second season of the show and is best left forgotten.

Well now, I don't think it's quite as bad as Riker 'hitting on the alien babe of the week', but this one is definitely a terrible episode. This is probably the only episode that everyone agrees is one of the worst. Now if they had to have a flashback show, what they should have done was make them scenes frome Riker's childhood, or other times before he came on board the Enterprise. That would have made it a lot better of an episode.
