TNG: Shades of Gray

Dear god, we are only in season two and the production is already short of cash enough to warrant a 'flashback' episode? How can it get any worse? Oh, I know, lets make the key to Rikirk's survival be a collage of recycled footage from him hitting on the babe alien of the week. TNG: Shades of Gray was an awful way to end the second season of the show and is best left forgotten.

This is probably the only episode that everyone agrees is one of the worst. Now if they had to have a flashback show, what they should have done was make them scenes frome Riker's childhood, or other times before he came on board the Enterprise. That would have made it a lot better of an episode.
