Revenge of the Nerds (1984)
[3 - Enjoyed it]
Wow, I think the last time I saw the full version of Revenge of the Nerds (1984) was in a movie theater. Oh sure, I will catch it on occasion on late night TV, but the TV edit must take at least a half an hour out of this movie. I had totally forgotten the nerd party that gets lively once the marijuana cigarettes come out and the panty raid on the Pi-Delta-Pi house. Revenge of the Nerds is one of those beautiful movies that realizes it is nothing more than a stupid and fun flick and does a great job of being exactly that. I honestly miss 80s flicks with gratuitous T&A, something Revenge of the Nerds uses shamelessly. The jokes are base, the stereotypes overt and the laughs a-plenty making for a very simple an fun movie.
I probably shouldn't, but I had to comment...
Takashi: Excuse please, but why do they call you "booger"?
Booger: [picking his nose] I don't know.
Not as good as Animal House, but it's a fav of mine. Too bad they made all those lousy sequels. Actually, 2 wasn't bad...

What's interesting is how many decent actors came out of some of these films. Hell, even Tim Robbins starred in Fraternity Vacation!
btw, I own Revenge of the Nerds along with Stripes, two great T&A comedies from the '80s.
