Underworld Web Site Open

[Movie News]

underworld.jpg

The official web site for Underworld has opened and is worth a visit. The site is very well constructed with a good look and theme.

Yes, it's just a great shame that it's so dependent upon Shockwave, since it takes an age to load via a dial-up connection. A Flash-free alternative would be less off-putting.

Mmmm. Kate Beckinsdale in tight black pants. Everyone thinks Trinity is hot, wait til they see this....The trailer actually makes it look fairly interesting even though the idea has been out there to at least some extent with movies like Blade and Blade II.

A 3 page layout for underworld is up at

"Everyone thinks Trinity is hot..."? Er, have to disagree on that one! (Y'know, there's a good reason Neo thought she was a bloke in the first film...) At least Beckinsale's gender is beyond question...(species is another matter)

Hehe.. nicely put.. and yes after seeing the two Matrix trilogy movies again it is not really that trinity is hot, so much as she is a sharp dresser. I agree that Beckinsale has her beat on all counts.

[Afternoon-after-the-night-before] Oh dear, sorry for my flippancy, but I shall stand by it... Quickly back on topic... The more I see of "Underworld", the more I'm looking forward to it (there was some rough-cut footage doing the rounds last week). And (unreformed male chauvinism aside for a mo') it's not just Beckinsale in leathers forming the appeal - Bill Nighy (best known here in the UK for his TV work, currently "State of Play", a splendid BBC political conspiracy thriller) appears to put in an excellent performance as the elder vampire.

While I think of it, if you'd like to save a copy of the QuickTime trailer to your hard drive, go here: http://www.moviemaze.de/trailer/2864.html and click on the disk symbol next to the resolution of your choice. A tiny window will pop up - just right-click the link it contains and Save Target As...

This movie was one of the best movies I have ever seen.Werewolf and Vampire non-stop action, it's awesome. Personally I pulled for the werewolves(Lycans) because there so awesome. This movie is action packed and suspenseful. You'll love it, it's worth 7 bucks.

i agree with malice 1485 whitewolf is bein unfair. And kevin ketche i actually like the vampires. They were smart and pretty strong(just not as strong as a fully transformed werewolf).I like how the vampires had the whole law. I love it when it showes selene jumpin off the building and then just gettin up so easily. o ya kate beckingsale is hot!!!

I loved seeing Kate in her black pvc outfit. Her personality, her looks ! I only wish the movie had more shots and close ups of her! She is absolutely beautiful in everything, looks, personality, and body ! Would have loved watching her being escorted up the stairs, where she is locked in a room awaiting her trial....The crowd behind her blocked what could have been a very awsome view!

I definately am a Kate Beckingsale Fan and Admirer ! LOL KATE AWSOME !!!

I have good news for all you Kate Beckinsale fans. You enjoyed her as a killer vampire in Underworld (2003), now take your first look of her as a vampire killer at the GeekRoar Van Helsing gallery captured from the just released Van Helsing Trailer.

Does anyone know if the second Underworld book is based on the movie sequel, or is it a bridger between the films.
P.S. I've just started a vampire forum.

Hi, dumb question here, but does anyone know or recall what is the name of the song that played in the background of commercials for Underworld before it was released in theaters??? It had a technoish beat and it sounded like someone kept saying either 'yaa yaa yaaa' or 'yaaw yaaw yaaaw' or during the song. Vague I know, but I've liked the song (or what I've heard of it) and would like to know who did it but haven't been able to find out who it is by, and as far as I can tell is on neither the soundtrack nor score for the film. Any help here would be duly appreciated.

In response to AS question, the song is red tape by agent provocateur
