The Last Samurai Trailer
[Movie News]I had not thought much of the upcoming movie The Last Samurai (2003) until I saw the trailer today. This could be good.
Posted by Leopoldo at May 15, 2003 04:52 PM | TrackBackDo you know what the trailer music used in THE LAST SAMURAI is?
Any info would be great!
I do not know the name of this specific track, but the type of music is called Taiko Drumming. Do a web search for Taiko and I am sure you will find some samples.. it can be quite stirring.

The trailer music for The Last Samurai is " The End of the Beginning" by ParodiFair.
Posted by: Marc on September 12, 2003 09:39 AMYeah, I like the music playing in the trailer as well. I looked for quite some time for "the end of the beginning" and ParoiFair. How would i go about getting this song?
-thanx
You can find "The end of the beginning" on Kazaa if you search long enough. Bad ass stuff, check out the link to Taiko Drumming.
Posted by: Steve on November 24, 2003 01:57 PMI've looked everywhere for the trailer song "The End of the Beginning" by ParodiFair and I seriously cannot find anything. Could someone please post some specifics? Anything would be greatly appreciated!
Posted by: Tim on November 28, 2003 12:16 PMI've also been looking for TLS - Trailer music and cannot seem to find it... even on Kazaa. I'm even willing to buy Parodifair's album, but it does not appear that they have compiled their music.
Anyone have any other suggestions to get your hands on this piece?

Posted by: Filth on November 29, 2003 09:52 PMThank you for the post, Filth. I noticed that the only similar parts that song carries from the trailer music is the very end of the trailer. The beginning music with the drums and the silence in between, like a building up of sorts, is not there in the mp3 you gave us. I wonder why it is different? Any ideas?
Thanks again, Filth! Greatly appreciated.
Posted by: Tim on November 30, 2003 06:48 AMI believe the beginning part is from the official soundtrack. I have the soundtrack and it's one of Hans Zimmer's best work.
Posted by: Filth on November 30, 2003 07:27 PMFilth:
I also have the soundtrack, and I've listened to literally every second on the 11 songs, and none have any resemblance to the trailer. I wonder if they tied two songs together in the trailer that are different from parodifair?
Oh well, I hope it surfaces soon! I love that song.

Hello! Iīve just download this excellent soundtrack and Iīm amazed. It sounds very good!!! Iīve download all songs in Kazaa tiping The Last Samurai, very simple. The song for the trailer appears as "The last samurai trailer theme", or something like that. Trackīs lenght is about 1ī13" and I think itīs the best way to close my compilated album ( 12 tracks after adding trailerīs theme ). Thanx a lot Mr. Zimmer.
