Bonnie and Clyde (1967)

[2 - OK]

Starring Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway and a Gene Hackman so young you can hardly recognize him Bonnie and Clyde (1967) has that special quality of 60's films that I find particularly annoying. I have never fully figured out exactly what it is about these movies. The dialog is written to emulate natural speech, people are uncomfortable the way they would be (should be?) in real life, and the movies in this genre have this incredibly annoying tendency to unapologetically start and end with no ramp up, ramp down, explanation or conclusion. I do not know what the name of this genre is, or what its identifying characteristics are. If I can figure that out I may learn why I find it so annoying and have an easier time staying away from it.
