Posted by: Mari on March 13, 2003 12:12 AMSame cinematographer, but as one who did not like much at all both Moulin Rouge and Romeo + Juliet (except the cinematography), I hope this is better. I liked both My Best Friend's Wedding and Muriel's Wedding (the latter, a lot, maybe I'm just a sucker for cheesy ABBA songs, but both of the main actresses have gone on to do good work, especially Muriel). The director hasn't really done anything like this before, though.

Posted by: ROGER on May 12, 2003 06:48 AMbut in alice in wonderland..no one really screwed up that story..they left certain things out, but as well as in peter pan, which is a really sad story, compared to alice in wonderland, which isn't all that sad, i really do hope that they keep certain parts in. that's probably why i liked the cathy rigby peter pan play so much more than any other version of peter pan...because they kept to the original script that j.m.barrie had written (the play version anyway). but seriously, i really hope that they will put in all the things from the BOOK and not the play...because then it would make more sense to the audience, i think. haha..i love peter pan.

Hey Jeremy, i thought you were really good in Peter pan, i was so sad when you nearly died. I love this movie, saw it once, am going into withdrawal because I have only seen it once, and that was eleven whole days ago, and think all the casting was PERFECT! The thing to remember when casting the perfect Peter Pan, is that he has to have that look of being outside of time. One cannot tell how old he is by looking at him. And that is the most important thing about casting Peter Pan. If you've got that, the rest is relatively simple. And Jeremy Sumter had it.
One more thing--I know that he's young and thin, but that is a beautiful costume!
Hey, I've been searching for the original screenplay for the movie. I want to adapt it to fit a play for elementary school by combining it with the screenplay for the cartoon version of Peter pan by Disney. Any ideas? i've exhausted searching by the subject Peter Pan screenplay/script/Hogan.

I've seent he movie 12 times so far, but it isn't becuase Jeremy plays in it, it's cuz I love the story, hehe Ü! I guess everyone thinks he is "the hottest guy in the world!" There are a few parts in the movie where he looks kinda cute in, but I'm 15 so I don't go for younger guys, lol. Anyways, acting is fun, and the thing that makes magic in a movie is that the actors have fun making the movie! That's awesome! Yay!!

P.S. This movie is undoubtedly better than Hook, but...doesn't anyone here like Hook? I certainly did.
However, aside from all the little touches that made it believable, (and I did like Julia Roberts and Tinkerbell) my favourite thing about Hook was the leader of the lost boys, Rufio(aka Mister Skunkhead With Too Much Mousse).
