TNG: The Last Outpost
[Trek Talk]TNG: The Last Outpost' was supposed to introduce the Ferengi as the new super-villain for the Next Generation crew. Just as the Federation feared the Klingons in the original series we were meant to fear the Ferengi in the new series. Say what?! What drugs were the writers on when they conceived this brilliant idea? I am glad they managed to find a new home for the Ferengi in the Star Trek universe as comedic relief. By the way, yes that is Armin Shimerman in the front there would later go on to play Quark on "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine".
