Kill Bill Script Online

[Film Discussion]

And on movie news that might interest Mr Zukin, the Quentin Tarantino Archives claims to have a copy of the script for Kill Bill online. I make no claims to authenticity nor do I want to risk spoliers by reading it, but I make it available to the curious.

I don't know if I want to read it or not. I feel like I might want to be surprised by Tarantino's language. Usually I don't mind, but I guess that just shows how much trust I have in him to be interesting.

why was Uma's name bleeped out, and what is it?

I am not going to post the answer on Geekroar.com since it is supposed to be a secret (it used to be in the trivia section at imdb.com but was removed). I can tell you that the answer to your question can be found at:

I'de really like to know what inspired QT to write such a unique story. What where his characters based on? Where did he get his urge to put the japanese spin on it all?

Posted by: andy on October 26, 2003 08:23 PM

Tarentino was researching old b-movies from the sixties to now and he was into the whole japanimation aspect of film. so he wrote a script about the retribution of some lady. all the answers the these questions can be found in an article recently posted in the newyorker.

I had read an early draft of the Kill Bill script that had a chapter entitled "Yuki's Revenge" in which GoGo's sister Yuki went to America to avenge her sister's death. Was this filmed and then edited out? or are they possibly planning a third installment with Elle Driver, Vernita Green's Daughter, and Yuki all coming after the Bride and her daughter?

Posted by: MrWhite09 on April 17, 2004 11:27 PM

Nikki, Copperhead's daughter, is planned to be in the third installment dubbed ''Kill the Bride,'' but it will take several years and they have to wait for Nikki to grow up.

i heard that the plot to vol 3 was that sophia, from vol 1, inherits all bills money and raises veronica greens kid, nikki , to kill the bride

Where can I find the Japanese subtitles from KB I?
Is Uma's character's name Beatrix?

For some reason, I feel as if there are stories and rumors made to create a drama and inspiration for QT to make a third installment of the kill bill movies. Elle Driver may have not died for our eyes to see on the screen, but because of her cruelty and bad attitude character, the last scene for her was best to end that way, and the Black Mamba snake not striking the bride (codenamed black mamba) scene was probably had deep meaning to show that there was respect and the final strike was left for the snake.....and about a scene with Gogo's sister Yuki, if that scene was really part of the original script, I am happy that Qt took it out. The main story would have been out of order and that scene would have been useless even though the main point of this movie is "Revenge will be Revenge".....a possibilty of Sophie Fatale training the young Nikki is maybe a 2 out of 10 to likely be but maybe a rich bitch character from taking all Bill's money would be a great scene to watch...and finally Beatrix's daughter would probably not learn any arts of fighting since Beatrix did say she wanted no harm and no dangerous life for her daughter....the only possible "next" movie would be with Nikki, (the scene where she just glares at Beatrix as she comes home from the bus and not answer when Beatrix who asks "Whats' your name?" is just dramatic and has some kind of meaning....".....also if there was a third movie for kill bill, i would sooooo like to know why oh why

1. They did such close ups on that anime character who killed Oren's father....and his rings and sword (which looked so much like Bill's rings and Bill's sword)...I swear that character is Bill, the hair, the face, and ....the blowup of the bottle just is Bill-like. Two scenes from Kill Bill 1 made me think there would be some revealing in Kill Bill 2, that Bill killed Oren's dad.

2. Daryl Hannah went on Sharon Osbourne and said Elle Driver blows up Beatrix Kiddo's Pussy Wagon....so what really did happen to the Pussy Wagon? Beatrix just says...the pussy wagon broke down...and estaban says the pussy broke down.....what's QT trying to point out?

your ideas?

1.Uma goes by the names:
the Bride
Arlene Makiavelli
Beatrix kiddo

2.BILL IS NOT OREN's DAD!! he isn't that old! when Oren's father dies, Oren is about 6(?)and bill is only about 58 wen Oren is about 35 so that does not work out! whoever said that was a fool!

3. Does anyone know any good script websites? I want to copy some of the script to put in an essy but cant find one any where!!

Posted by: Paula Shultz 2 on October 21, 2004 07:43 AM

It's spelled "Machiavelli." Machiavelli wrote The Prince, in which the idea of the ends justifying the means is spelled out.

and reply to 'black momba' yes quentin is m,aking a third but he says it might take 15 years (seriously, not joking)
p.s. it's spelt black mamba.

Posted by: bea on March 13, 2005 12:06 PM

Sorry to correct you Paula Shultz 2 but O-ren was 9 when her father was killed by a 46 year old Bill

Posted by: Namis Orion on March 26, 2005 01:39 AM

Bill is 68 when he is killed

Posted by: Namis Orion on March 26, 2005 01:41 AM

Tarrantino does want to do a prequal to Kill Bill in Anime' form which would cover the life of Bill up until the age of 22.

As for the Anime' sequence in Kill Bill, Bill does kill O-ren's dad but his rings and sword are different. I have a replicer Bill sword and I had a Bill ring made, Bill's ring is Big, Gold and has an Emerald in it. Bill does change his rings from time to time because in Vol. 2 he is just wearing a gold band.

Posted by: Namis Orion on March 26, 2005 01:51 AM

I dont think that Kill Bill vol.3 is a good Idea because she already killed all the major characters O-ren, Vernita, Budd, Elle, and BILL!!!
Although Elle is still alive just blind. She is the only member of The Deadly Viper Assasanation Squad still alive. What is she going to do. She is Blind. So it won't be very interesting. Unless they bring back Bill. Which I doubt. He died from the Five-point palm exploding heart technique. Well thats my opinion.

Posted by: Travis on April 17, 2005 12:49 PM

I agree, the only way they should do another one is a prequal.

Posted by: Namis Orion on April 23, 2005 02:36 AM

When you say bill killed oren's dad do you mean the guy who actually killed him with the sword? and also, when the bride tells Vernita she chose her weapon of choice, does anyone know what that is?

Posted by: Face on June 29, 2005 11:07 AM

Yes the guy with the sword is Bill. A Butchers Knife is the refered weapon.
