Forgotten Silver (1995)

[3 - Enjoyed it]

A tongue in cheek mockumentary, Forgotten Silver showcases Peter Jackson's wit and grand sense of humor. The movie pretext has Jackson stumbling across a lost archive of films by 'Colin McKenzie', an early New Zeland filmmaker who beat others to the first movie with sound, the first color film and the first large cast epic. With Jackson, Leonard Malting and others managing to keep a straight face as they offer McKenzie's history Forgotten Silver is a great comedy for any student of film history to enjoy.
