Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001)

A few good jokes in a pretty mediocre movie. It is hard to believe that the most excellent Clerks cost $20,000 to make, the great Chasing Amy was made for $200,000 while this unfortunate film went for a full $20 Million. Some of the best jokes are the self-referential ones. It is too bad they did not pay attention to their own script and notice how distasteful the "90 minute long homophobic joke" is. All in all it must be watched by Kevin Smith fans and can be enjoyed for the various references and inside jokes, but it does not really warrant being talked about in any detail.
