Which Serenity character are you?

OK Serenity fans, time for another stupid timewaster this time it is the Which Serenity character are you? personality quiz.

Which one did I get? Why
You scored as Jayne Cobb. The Mercenary. You are in this for the money, plain as that. You like things simple that way, but mainly as anything else confuses you. You get the job done, and don’t care what people think. Not as long as you get paid anyway.

Tasty Rummor: “Disney to buy Pixar”

Here is a tasty little rummor from Yahoo! Finance:

Pixar Animation Studios, creator of “The Incredibles,” and The Walt Disney Co. are rumored to be on the verge of a deal — either a new distribution pact between the longtime partners or the possible sale of Pixar to Disney.

According to the Los Angeles Times, two sources close to the deal said ongoing talks have been turning to Disney acquiring all or part of Emeryville-based Pixar. In that case, Jobs, also CEO of Apple Computer, would become a major Disney shareholder and possibly the company’s chairman.

Lets see what happens….

Your Star Wars name

I was just listening to the Podcast of the Delta Park Project and was quite amused by the Star Wars Name Game. To play the game you figure out your Star Wars name like this:

1. Take the last 3 letters of your first name, and reverse them. This is your first name:
Leopoldo = Odl = Odel
2. Take the name of the first car you drove. This is your last name:
1972 Plymouth Volare = Volare
3. And add ‘From the Planet of’ and the name of the last prescription drug you took:
Sulfasalazine

So that would make me ‘Odel Volare from the planet Sulfasalazine’. What is your Star Wars name?

Of the top 250 Movies I have seen…

Mari posted an interesting idea at her blog. She has marked which of the IMDB Top 250 films she has seen, very similar to my earlier post Film Roar: 37% Library DVD Titles Watched where I counted having seen 540 of the 1,447 DVD titles at Multnomah County Libraries. I liked the idea and thought I would take a whack at the list myself. I disagree with many of these films having such high ratings, but am nonetheless proud to say I have seen 80% of the movies listed.
