Serenity Early Screening
April 27th, 2005 at 10:14 am (Movie News, Trailers)
This morning the Serenity movie Fan Site, Browncoats posted a news announcement for a special advanced screening of an unfinished version of the movie in select cities. The Portland screening sold out within a few hours of being posted, sorry local fans, but other shows might still have tickets available. If you attend one, comment on this post and let us know how it went (but please no spoilers).

(1) Freebies — a mini-poster and a keychain.
(2) A short while into the film, something went seriously wrong: They skipped a reel and suddenly we were watching something from later in the movie. I left to go to the bathroom and avoid seeing spoilers for later in the film, figuring they’d come around to getting it sorted out. The rep from Universal came in and asked if we wanted to watch it out of order or wait a whole 20 minutes for them to get the reels reloaded. Unanimous roar of the crowd willing to wait.
(2) On the movie: You won’t forget it.
