Some encouraging news for Angels Fans

According to an article posted last week on FilmForce the WB, FOX and Mutant Enemy are holding talks to consider options to keep Joss Whedon’s Angel on the air. The WB announced in February that Angel would end with the fifth season, details are at: Film Roar: Season 5 of Angel to be the Last

this comment was supposed to be my opinion in a forum i can’t find on this website regarding angel/cordy/buffy. I liked cordy in the buffy and angel series..and i kno that many ppl seem to like the idea of angel and cordy being meant for each other..but i hav to disagree…i think that buffy and angel are soulmates..but because of their circumstances they can’t be together..their love represents how strong and pure first love can be and how even when the other leaves…the love they have for each other is eternal because their love is a love that not even death can weaken. on another note…angel loved buffy enough to leave her because he knew it was the right thing…so if he realli loved cordy…he could not possibly end up with her because that would be contradicting…and lessening the sentiment of his feelings for her. I am a huge fan of buffy and watching the series just helps me understand the character and the problems she faces and has to go through to finally understand her destiny and reason for living…season 6 was not realli boring because i think it explored a more different darker side of her as a result of deed that was supposed to be good. She constantly saves the world and makes sacrifices yet even when she is supposed to have finally achieved peace which is what she deserves..she gets ripped out..and it’s like there’s no escape and that she will continue to live and have to keep saving others and the world..and bear responsibilities because of what destiny she was born into.
