I just got a view at the trailer for the German movie Good bye, Lenin! (2003) and am very intrigued. The movie centers around a young man living in East Berlin who’s mother falls into a heart attack induced comma right before the wall comes down and wakes some months later. The doctors are afraid a shock or excitement might force another heart attack forcing the son to create an intricate deception to keep his mother from learning about the changes her hometown has undergone. If the trailer is true to the movie this could be an enchanting piece!
