Look up and prepare the Way! Angels in America is coming

Back in January I found out that one of my favorite plays, Tony Kushner’s Angels in America was being adapted for an HBO Movie. I asked around to see if someone with HBO could tape it for me, but the only people I found who subscribe are friends of friends that I do not see often. I want to make sure I don’t miss this (though it will almost certainly be released on DVD next year) and just ordered my cable package upgraded to digital cable with HBO so I can record it at home. This could be good… very good.

Saw the first installment of this masterpiece and I cannot stop thinking about life and the issues it stirs. Here in Trinidad in the West Indies things are so stifled that when I see the mastery that is this movie propelled by the brillence of Ms. Streep, Ms. Thompson and the unsinkable Mr. Pacino one cannot help but be in awe of greatness. A movie that commands your attention, provokes your intellegence and inspires your humility. Thank you for this Angel, surely there must be a heaven.

According to DVDAnswers.com the Angels in America (2003)
DVD will be released on June 1st. I plan on reserving mine as soon as possible.
