Lightwave 3D version 8

Here is an update on Lightwave that may interest some of you digital animators.

NewTek announced that it will preview LightWave 3D [8] at SIGGRAPH 2003, July 29-31. Expected to ship in the fourth quarter of 2003, the new version “will focus on workflow and user interface improvements. In addition, LightWave [8] will include enhancements to character animation tools and game development tools, as well as improved integration with other production tools and with 3rd party add-ons.” Those who purchased LightWave 3D [7.5] on or after April 1 will receive the LightWave 3D [8] update free, by download.
