Cypher Trailer online

CineMovies has posted a new trailer for Cypher (2002). The movie, starring Lucy Liu and Jeremy Northam looks like Gattaca (1997) meets Matrix, The (1999) meets Artificial Intelligence: AI (2001)… all gone cyberpunk. The movie is directed by Cube (1997) director Vincenzo Natali and does not seem to be showing in the US yet.

Finally, an intelligent, well-paced, gripping, unpredictable, spy movie that works and does not rely on whizz-bang to hold you. “Cube” director reprises some of his tricks - notably with sound- to leave you edgy and confused, until the satisfying ending. Acting where actors actually act instead of pose in front of camera, creating subtle hints at what is to come. Clever,
stylish, elegant; one of the best.

I saw this on an Emirates airways, of all places. Screws with your brain a little, but absolutely brilliant. Watch it.
